The Association holds an annual conference for its members during the Easter Vacation. Attendance at the conference is open to members and invited guests. Grants are available to support attendance at the annual conference by research students: see the Postgrads/Early Career page for details.
Given current uncertainties surrounding travelling and gatherings due to Covid-19, the AHGBI in conjunction with the local conference organising team, has made the decision to hold a hybrid conference in 2022. It is expected that our 2022 Annual Conference will comprise of 1 or 2 face-to-face days, with the rest of the conference online. The conference will be hosted by the Institute of Modern Languages Research (IMLR), School of Advanced Study, University of London, and will take place from Monday 11th to Wednesday 13rh April 2022.
